This means that Zotter produce their own chocolate from bean to bar. This sound so logical that you wouldn't think it was special. However, Zotter is the only one in Europe to produce exclusively Organic & Fairtrade chocolate from bean-to-bar. Josef Zotter believes that home made always tastes best, so he rigidly applies this approach to his chocolate

Organic

Zotter decided that organic is the future in the age of climate change. Conventional intensive cultivation wears down the resources of our planet. Zotter prefers to work with nature rather than against it, an approach that has been highly commended by Greenpeace.

Fairtrade

Respect and esteem for others is not limited by national boundaries. People who are being exploited cannot love their product, nor create quality. People who do the exploiting love their product just as little and enjoy it even less. That is why Zotter deal in Fairtrade.
